My first introduction to watercolor was a complete failure.  I was discouraged and abandoned this medium for over 20 years.  But I was always drawn to watercolor paintings - I loved the luminous mystery that the medium gives us.  I finally purchased some supplies and took classes from a very talented watercolorist.  I have spent many hours exploring the mysteries of how the water and paint join together to give us the translucent passages in a painting.  This is my very favorite medium by far.  Although I work in other mediums from time to time, my passion and my love is for watercolor.
